Nursing Home Care:
The nursing home program at Elant provides a variety of medical, clinical, social, psychological and rehabilitation services to its residents. Comfortable living arrangements, coupled with a skilled, caring and highly trained staff ensure the highest quality care is delivered to each resident and client served by Elant each year.

Rehabilitation Services:
When recovering from an illness, injury or surgery, this "in between time" can be a challenging one - you're not ill enough for a hospital, but not quite ready to function the way you want. This is where the Rehabilitation Services at Elant come in. We have a full spectrum of high-quality therapeutic services that can be customized to your personal needs. Our goal is to get you back to your family, your community and the things you enjoy doing as quickly as possible.
Elant Rehabilitation Services offer three complete areas of expertise, suited to all rehabilitation needs:
- Occupational therapy: Helps promote independence with daily tasks and activities.
- Physical therapy: Helps people restore, maintain and promote overall health, improves strength and coordination and reduces overall physical disabilities.
- Speech therapy: Diagnoses and treatments for a wide variety of speech, language and voice disabilities.
Adult Home Living:
For seniors who want to maintain their independence but may need additional help, Elant is the perfect answer. Adult home living at Elant means no more concerns about the difficult parts of the daily routine. The monthly adult home fee includes three nutritious meals a day served restaurant style in the dining room, weekly laundry and housekeeping services so there are no concerns about washing and cleaning, 24-hour staffing in case of emergency needs, scheduled transportation for shopping and a roster of daily cultural and social events.
The cheerful rooms feature accessible baths with walk-in showers, community kitchenettes for an afternoon tea or late-night snack, and a personal emergency response system. Except for telephone expenses, all utilities and cable television are included in the monthly fee. Our certified adult home program allows residents to remain as self-sufficient as possible for as long as possible.

The home’s cheerful studio apartment homes feature accessible baths with walk-in showers, kitchenettes and a personal emergency response system.

Enriched Housing:Elant Enriched Housing Suites at Glen Arden offer a satisfying lifestyle for seniors who, with a little help, can continue to enjoy hobbies, friendships and activities they have valued for a lifetime.
The Enriched Housing Suites are an excellent choice for people who need help managing certain aspects of daily living, but do not need nursing care. Residents enjoy around-the-clock staffing and three delicious meals in a well appointed dining room. Residents are encouraged to remain as independent as they can be, but if needed, help with the activities of daily living is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Adult Day Care:
When an individual requires quality daytime care but can remain at home, Elant Adult Day Health Care is an ideal solution. A Medicaid-approved program, Adult Day Health Care provides social interaction, professional nursing care, rehabilitation services and physical and occupational activities, along with nutritious meals and snacks.
Adult Day Health Care programs ensure respite for the caretaker and companionship, stimulation, and care for the individuals in a nurturing environment.

Elant at Tuxedo Place’s well-appointed one- and two-bedroom apartment homes are available to those 55 and up who meet certain income guidelines. The independent living apartments include full baths, eat-in kitchens and wall-to-wall carpeting, plus all the amenities the community has to offer, all within a short distance to historic downtown Tuxedo.

Elant Choice is an innovative, community-based managed long-term care plan that enables residents of Orange County, aged 18 or older, to receive care while remaining at home, in their community. Elant Choice enrollees have access to an affordable and coordinated system of care that provides much needed health care and social services in the most appropriate setting.
Elant at Home provides companion and support services for people who require non medical assistance in their home by providing dependable and affordable services including companion services, light and heavy housekeeping, shopping/errands, household financial assistance and personal care.
Elant's Home Health Services are designed to meet health, social, emotional and environmental needs while enhancing the quality of life within the limitations of acute and chronic illnesses. This is done through compassionate, dependable and dignified care within the comfort of one's own home and familiar surroundings.
- Skilled nurses who provide specialized treatments and procedures, assess vital signs, monitor and report symptoms and instruct the patient and family regarding care at home.
- Home Health Aides or Personal Care Aides to assist with personal care, provide assistance with therapy and observe and report changes in patient condition to the assigned nurse.
- Physical therapists who provide exercise programs equipment and prosthetic device training.
- Specialized speech therapy services.
- Medical social worker who evaluate the patient's social and economic needs to aid in recovery.
- Homemakers and companions to assist with day-to-day chores and offer companionship.
- Respiratory therapists who provide care and evaluate respiratory needs.
- Hospital and nursing home private duty and companion services.
- Home maintenance program that provides services to help maintain the patient's home.
The Long Term Health Care Programs provide comprehensive care in the comfort and privacy of the client's own home. The program is open to anyone in Dutchess and Orange Counties eligible for care in a residential care facility or nursing home. The Long Term Home Health Care Program is covered by Medicaid, Medicare or private pay provided that the amount of service needed is within 75% of what it would cost to be in a nursing home.

The Elant Kids Children’s Learning Center offers nationally accredited and state licensed daycare for area children. Both the Children’s Learning Center and Summer Day Camp offer a variety of activities and programs designed to foster creativity, teach problem solving techniques and encourage the development of social interaction skills. With their emphasis on the whole individual, the Elant Kids programs seek to enhance the cognitive, physical, emotional, social, cultural and creative development of every child.

Adult Family Foster Care:
Founded in 1989, Fishkill Health Center’s Foster Family Care Program matches elderly or disabled adult clients with families who share their homes and provide personal care for the client in the stimulating and nourishing environment of family life.
The program is ideal for elderly or disabled adults who do not need total care, but do require 24-hour supervision and cannot get that care at home. For qualified clients, the FHC Foster Family Care Program is an alternative to residential or nursing home care.
