Lanza Appointed VP and CFO of Elant System
GOSHEN, N.Y. -- – Nicholas J. Lanza was recently appointed Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the not-for-profit Elant, Inc. long-term care system.
Lanza’s responsibilities include building and enhancing the financial operations of the senior health and housing organizations that comprise Elant. He will oversee budgeting, modeling and forecasting, revenue and product line management, operational efficiency, information services and financial reporting to the board of directors.
Lanza has decades of financial and operational experience in the health care field. Prior to joining Elant, Lanza served as both interim CEO and vice president and chief financial officer at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, where he managed financial operations for the $100 million organization.
He previously held leadership positions at Horizon Practice Management Consultants, Inc. in Mahway, N.J., the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn and the New York State Department of Health.
Lanza is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Medical Group Management Association.

Lanza holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Francis College in Brooklyn and has completed four parts of the certified public accountant’s exam.
